Diablo built this Dura-Tip auger bit set for drilling clean, deep holes in wood without burning out a bit halfway through the job. Each bit is made from high speed steel and heat treated for durability, so they hold an edge through repeated use on framing lumber, joists, and other wood drilling tasks where a twist bit would bog down or dull fast.
The quick-change hex shank lets you swap bits between drivers and impact drivers without fumbling with a chuck key, which matters when you're up a ladder or working in a crawl space. At 7.5 inches long with a 7/16 inch shank, these bits reach through thick stock and give you the length to drill all the way through door jambs, beams, and other deep applications.
This set of 3 comes carded for easy storage in a tool bag or on a pegboard, so you're not hunting for loose bits at the bottom of a drawer. Good fit for carpenters, remodelers, and anyone running electrical or plumbing lines through framing.
