This 5/8" x 13" bit is built for SDS-Max hammer drills tackling concrete, block, and masonry where embedded rebar is a real possibility. It's part of Diablo's Rebar Demon line, a carbide-tipped bit engineered to keep cutting when it hits steel instead of stalling out or burning up like a standard masonry bit.
The SDS-Max shank locks into compatible rotary hammers for maximum hammering energy transfer, while the 8" flute length and 13" overall reach let you drill through thick walls, foundations, and slabs in one pass. Made in Germany and sold individually in carded packaging, it's suited for anchor holes, conduit runs, and other structural drilling tasks on job sites where hitting rebar is a matter of when, not if.
