The Diablo Rebar Demon 5/8 x 21 Inch SDS-Max Hammer Bit is built for drilling through concrete and masonry where rebar is a likely obstacle, not an occasional surprise. The carbide tip is engineered to keep cutting even when it hits steel, so crews working on foundations, slabs, and reinforced walls don't have to stop and swap bits every time they clip rebar. The SDS-Max shank locks into larger rotary hammers for the kind of torque and impact transfer that smaller SDS-plus systems can't handle. At 21 inches overall with a 16-inch flute length, it reaches through thick concrete sections and gives you working depth for anchor holes, utility penetrations, and other deep-hole drilling jobs. Made in Germany and sold as a single carded bit, it's a straightforward replacement or addition to a contractor's SDS-Max bit set.
