Diablo's SandNet hand sanding pads pack 80-grit ceramic blend abrasive onto a block-style pad sized for detail work by hand. The coarse grit strips paint, knocks down rough wood, and preps surfaces fast, and the ceramic blend construction holds up better than standard aluminum oxide pads through repeated passes. Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Diablo. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.
Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.
