Cutting composite decking or cellular PVC with a standard wood blade usually means melted edges, chipping, or a blade caked with residue after a few cuts. The Diablo TrexBlade is built specifically for that job. Its 72-tooth count and M-TCG (modified triple chip grind) geometry shear through composite and PVC cleanly instead of tearing or gumming up, while the -3 degree hook angle keeps the cut controlled on dense decking material.
The teeth are tipped in TiCo Hi-Density Carbide, a harder carbide formulation that holds an edge longer against the abrasive fillers found in composite decking - so you're not stopping mid-project to swap blades. A thin 0.102 kerf with 0.071 plate thickness cuts efficiently without overworking the saw. This is a dedicated-use blade: if you're building or repairing a composite deck, trimming PVC trim boards, or working with cellular PVC, it's the right tool for the cut. Fits any 10-inch saw with a standard 5/8-inch arbor.
