About Product Overview

DRYLOK Extreme is built for masonry surfaces that take a real beating from water, whether that's a basement wall fighting hydrostatic pressure or an outdoor foundation exposed to weather year-round. It's a latex-based waterproof sealer that goes on with a brush and holds up both indoors and outdoors, with UV resistance so exterior applications don't chalk or fade the way ordinary masonry paint does.

Rated to cover 75-125 square feet per 5-gallon container depending on how porous the surface is, this is a job for brick, concrete, and masonry specifically - not a general-purpose paint. Plan on two coats for full waterproofing performance, with a 2-hour recoat window and 2-hour dry time between steps, so a weekend project stays on schedule. The tintable white base gives you a workable starting point if you want a custom color, and the low-VOC formula makes it a reasonable choice for basement and indoor masonry work where ventilation is limited. Apply above 50°F for proper cure.
