About Product Overview

This FastenMaster Cortex kit pairs 2-1/2" deck screws with matching plugs, so fasteners disappear into the deck surface instead of dotting every board. The coarse thread pulls into wood decking material for a solid hold, while the button head sits low and the Torx Ttap drive resists cam-out and stripping when you're working through a full bucket of screws.

Packaged 466 to a bucket, this is enough hardware to cover a real deck build or a sizable repair without running back to the store mid-project. Rated for indoor and outdoor use, it works for exterior decking as well as interior applications where a clean, screw-free look matters.
