About Product Overview

FastenMaster's Cortex system is built for decking that needs to look finished from every angle, with no screw heads breaking up the boards. This contractor pack holds 224 pieces of No. 10 epoxy-coated steel screws in a 2-1/2 inch length, packaged in a bucket for job site use and cleanup. The Torx TTap drive style bites in fast and resists stripping, while the coarse thread and self-tapping design pull the fastener through composite or wood decking without pre-drilling.

Each screw comes with a matching plug so the fastener disappears into the board once installed, giving outdoor decks a clean, hardware-free surface. Built for exterior work, the epoxy coating stands up to weather exposure over time.
