Each screw is a No. 14 x 4 inch flat head with a self-drilling tip, so you can drive straight into wood without a separate pilot hole in most applications.

The coarse thread is matched to wood fiber for solid grip, and the Torx Ttap drive resists cam-out and stripping when you're working through a whole bucket.
