About Product Overview

At 5 inches long, these FastenMaster FlatLok wood screws are built for heavy structural work, not trim or cabinetry. The No. 14 callout and coarse thread give them the holding power to bite into thick lumber, ledger boards, beams, and multi-ply built-up posts where a standard deck screw won't cut it. Self-drilling tips mean less pilot-hole prep, and the Torx TTap drive resists cam-out under the torque these longer screws demand.

The carbon steel body carries an epoxy finish rated for indoor and outdoor use, so these work as well on an exposed deck frame as they do inside a wall assembly. Sold in a 250-count bucket, this is a job-lot quantity for contractors and serious DIYers tackling framing, decking, or timber connections rather than a one-off repair.
