Each 1-5/8" No. 10 screw has a bugle head that seats cleanly into decking without tearing the wood fibers, and the coarse thread pulls tight for a solid grip in typical deck framing. The self-drilling tip means less prep work and fewer stripped starts, and the dual Phillips/Square drive gives you the option to run whatever bit you've got loaded - a driver bit is included in the bucket anyway. Steel construction with a gold finish is rated for outdoor use, and everything comes packaged in a resealable bucket that's easy to store or carry around the job site.
