About Product Overview

The FastenMaster HeadLOK structural wood screw is built for the connections that actually hold a building together—ledger boards, beam-to-post attachments, deck framing, and other load-bearing wood-to-wood joints where a common deck screw isn't rated for the job. At 4-1/2 inches long with a 3/16 in. shank, it's sized to bite deep into framing lumber and hold under real structural load.

The coarse thread pulls the screw into wood fast and grips hard once it's set, while the Torx TTAP drive keeps the bit locked in place so you're not fighting cam-out halfway through a run. A button top head seats cleanly without a countersink step, and the T30 finish is rated for both indoor and outdoor use, so it works whether you're framing inside a wall cavity or building a deck exposed to weather. This 250-piece bucket is sized for contractors and serious DIYers tackling framing-scale projects, not one-off repairs.
