About Product Overview

FIRECOAT's PRIMR 2.6G LTX is a water-based interior primer built for jobs where stain blocking matters as much as coverage. At 2.6 gallons, it's sized for larger interior projects, and with a coverage area of 138 (per gallon or as labeled), you can plan material needs before you start rather than running short mid-wall.

This primer works across multiple surfaces, so it's a solid pick for prepping drywall, trim, or mixed-material rooms where you don't want to switch products between surfaces. It goes on with a brush, roller, or spray can, giving you flexibility depending on the size and shape of the job. The low sheen white finish lays down an even base coat that won't telegraph through your topcoat, and since it's not tintable, it's meant strictly as a prep layer rather than a finish coat itself.

Cleanup is simple soap-and-water, and with a 6-hour recoat window, you can prime in the morning and paint by afternoon. Made in Australia for indoor use only.
