About Product Overview

This Flotec shallow well jet pump handles the everyday work of pulling water from a shallow well and moving it where you need it, whether that's a home's main water supply or an irrigation setup. The 1/2 HP motor is sized for shallow well applications, and because it's self-priming, it doesn't need to be re-primed every time it sits idle.

The housing is thermoplastic, which Flotec builds for corrosion resistance, so it holds up better than bare metal against the moisture and mineral content well pumps deal with over time. It runs on a pressure switch, meaning it cycles on when pressure drops and off once it's restored, and it ships without a tank, so it's meant to work with an existing pressure tank setup rather than as a standalone unit.
