About Product Overview

Flotec built this convertible jet pump to handle two different well setups without asking you to buy two different pumps. Switch the jet configuration and it pulls water from a shallow well or, with the right ejector setup, a deeper well - which matters if you're not sure what you're working with or want one pump on hand for either job. The 1/2 HP motor is self-priming, so you're not manually filling the pump body every time it sits idle, and the pressure switch cycles it on automatically when household demand calls for water.

The housing is thermoplastic, which Flotec notes as corrosion resistant - a real plus for pumps that spend their life around wet, mineral-heavy well water. It runs on either 115 or 230 volts and is rated for water temperatures between 35°F and 140°F, so it's built for outdoor or basement installations that see some seasonal swing. No pressure tank is included, so plan for that separately.
