About Product Overview

This Flotec FP4122-08 is a 3/4 HP shallow well jet pump built for homes and cabins drawing water from a well less than 25 feet deep. The cast iron housing stands up to the corrosion that eventually kills lighter-duty pumps, and the self-priming design means you're not stuck manually priming it every time it loses suction after a power outage or dry spell.

It's built to run, not just start: a pressure switch handles the on/off cycling automatically, and the motor is rated for continuous duty across a 35°F to 140°F range, so it works through cold mornings and hot pump-house afternoons alike. With a 1-inch discharge and up to 882 GPH of flow, it's sized for a single-family well setup, sprinkler line, or shallow-well backup system. Runs on 115/230V and pulls 6.1 amps, and it carries CSA and UL compliance for safety. No pressure tank included, so plan on pairing it with one you already have or a new tank sized to your household demand.
