About Product Overview

The Flotec FPZS50RP is a 1/2 HP submersible sump pump built to keep basements and crawl spaces dry, moving up to 4200 gallons per hour at its peak rate. That flow drops to 3000 GPH at 10 feet of lift and 960 GPH at 20 feet, so it's worth checking your discharge run length against those numbers before you buy.

A zinc housing and bottom suction intake handle the wear and grit that come with pit duty, while the vertical float switch turns the pump on at 7-1/2 inches and off at 3 inches, keeping cycling automatic and consistent. The 1-1/2 inch outlet fits standard sump discharge fittings, and an 8 foot cord gives you room to reach a nearby outlet without an extension cord in the pit.

Rated for 120V household service and built in the USA, this pump carries CSA and UL compliance and is meant for water between 32 and 70 degrees F, which covers the typical range in a residential sump basin.
