About Product Overview

Forney's E6011 electrode is built for the jobs where you can't control the conditions - dirty metal, rusty surfaces, or old equipment that's been sitting outside. This is a deep-penetrating rod that runs on AC current and cuts through mill scale and light rust that would stop other electrodes cold. It's a mainstay for farm repair, fabrication, and maintenance welding where the base metal isn't prepped to perfection.

The 1/8" diameter rod runs at 35-125 amps, giving you a workable range for a variety of mild steel jobs, from patch repairs to structural work. With an 88,000 PSI tensile strength, welds hold up under real stress, not just cosmetic fixes. Each rod measures 15 inches long and comes boxed for easy storage in the shop or on the truck. Made in the USA.
