About Product Overview

E7018 electrodes are the standard call-out for structural steel work where weld strength and crack resistance matter, and this Forney rod delivers with a low-hydrogen coating built for AC or DC machines. The 1/8" diameter runs well in the 100-140 amp range, giving you enough control for vertical and overhead passes without burning through thinner sections.

With an 84,000 psi tensile strength rating, these rods are suited to load-bearing joints, repair work, and fabrication jobs where a weaker rod just won't hold up over time. Each 15" electrode is boxed for easy storage in the shop or on the truck, and the mild steel composition matches common structural and repair applications.
