About Product Overview

E7018 electrodes are the standard call-out for structural steel work where weld strength and crack resistance matter, and this Forney rod delivers with a low-hydrogen coating built for AC or DC machines. The 1/8" diameter runs well in the 100-140 amp range, giving you enough control for vertical and overhead passes without burning through thinner sections.

With an 84,000 psi tensile strength rating, these rods are suited to load-bearing joints, repair work, and fabrication jobs where a weaker rod just won't hold up over time.
