This Forney flap wheel is built for cleaning up welds, blending metal surfaces, and knocking down rust or scale without gouging the work like a solid grinding wheel can. The 80 grit aluminum oxide flaps stay sharp longer since new abrasive is exposed as the wheel wears, and the 1/4" shank chucks right into a die grinder or drill for detail work in tight spots. Rated up to 25,000 RPM, it holds up under regular shop use.
