About Product Overview

This Forney auto-darkening welding helmet takes the guesswork out of shade control. Instead of flipping your hood up and down between strikes, the variable shade lens darkens automatically when the sensor bar detects an arc, so you can position your work, strike, and keep welding without breaking rhythm. The lift-front lens design also makes it easy to flip the viewing lens out of the way for grinding or setup work without removing the whole helmet.

Built with an impact-resistant shell and solar-powered sensor, it's suited for welders who move between different processes and don't want to keep swapping gear. The matte black finish is low-glare and shop-practical, and the fully adjustable headgear means it fits a range of head sizes for a secure, comfortable seal against sparks and UV exposure. A spatter shield helps protect the lens from slag and debris during the job.
