6011 electrodes have earned their reputation on farms, job sites, and in home shops for one reason: they run clean on dirty work. This Forney 5/32" rod handles rusty, painted, or otherwise less-than-perfect mild steel without a lot of pre-cleaning, and its deep penetration profile means it digs into the joint rather than just sitting on top of it. The 6011 classification also gives it flexibility that many rods don't have - it runs on AC, DCEN, or DCEP, so it works with whatever machine you've got, including basic AC buzz box welders. That versatility, combined with an all-position arc, makes it a solid choice for repair welding, fabrication, and maintenance work where you can't always get into flat position. Comes boxed at 10 lbs, made in the USA.
