Forney's ER70S-6 MIG wire is built for auto body repair and general fabrication work on mild steel and other ferrous metals. The 0.024" diameter is on the thinner side, which makes it a good match for lighter-gauge sheet metal and body panel work where you need a clean, controlled bead without burning through. It runs on DCEP (reverse) polarity, the standard setup for MIG welding, and delivers a 70,000 psi tensile strength weld for solid joint integrity. The wire ships on a 10 lb spool in a boxed package, giving you a manageable amount of wire for shop use without committing to a bulk spool.
