This ER70S-6 MIG wire from Forney is sized for auto body repair and general fabrication work on mild steel. The .030 diameter runs well on most home shop and light industrial MIG setups, and the ER70S-6 classification gives you a wire with higher levels of deoxidizers - useful for welding over slightly dirty or rusty steel without as much porosity. Rated for DCEP polarity with a 70,000 PSI tensile strength, it lays down a solid, dependable weld on ferrous metals. Comes boxed in a manageable 2-pound spool, good for smaller jobs or as backup wire in the shop.
