About Product Overview

The Forney Pro Weld Helmet pairs auto-darkening technology with solar power, so the lens reacts to your arc automatically and you're not stopping mid-weld to flip a shade or swap batteries. The sensor bar picks up the strike and darkens the lens on its own, while the lift-front design lets you flip the shield up for grinding, setup, or a clear look at your work without pulling the whole helmet off. Impact-resistant construction and a spatter shield stand between you and flying debris, and ANSI certification means it meets the safety standard shops rely on. Variable shade control lets you dial in the right darkness for the process and amperage you're running, and the matte black finish keeps things simple.
