About Product Overview

When the power drops, this Generac standby unit doesn't wait for you to notice - the included automatic transfer switch senses the outage and starts the generator on its own, switching your home over to backup power without anyone flipping a switch. That's the difference between a standby generator and a portable one: it's wired in and ready around the clock.

Power comes from a Generac G-Force engine built specifically for generator duty, and the whole unit can be checked in on remotely thanks to built-in Bluetooth. It's backed by a 5-year warranty and built here in the USA, which matters for a piece of equipment meant to sit outside and run hard when you need it most.
