About Product Overview

When a job needs more muscle than a garden-hose transfer pump but you don't want to run an extension cord to the middle of a field, this Generac semi-trash pump fills the gap. The 6HP gas engine drives up to 158 gallons per minute and pushes water as high as 108 feet of head, so it handles jobsite dewatering, flooded basements away from an outlet, irrigation draws, and pond or pool drainage without depending on the grid.

The aluminum housing resists corrosion, and the semi-trash design means it can pass debris and solids that would clog a standard utility pump - useful when you're pumping out muddy excavation pits or storm runoff instead of clean water. It's non-self-priming, so plan to fill the pump housing before starting, and the automatic switch takes care of on/off cycling once it's running. A 2-inch discharge pipe size moves volume fast, and it's rated to handle water up to 120°F.
