About Product Overview

A power outage doesn't have to mean a stuck garage door. This Genie chain drive opener includes a battery backup system that keeps things running when the electricity cuts out, so you're not stuck locking your car outside or wrestling the door open by hand during a storm.

The 3/4 HP chain drive motor is rated for doors up to 500 lbs, which covers most standard single garage doors.
