About Product Overview

These Grip-Rite 3" ring shank strip nails are built for framing work that has to hold - decking, sheathing, and general construction where a smooth shank nail can back out over time. The ring shank grips the wood fibers as it's driven, giving you meaningfully more pull-out resistance than a standard smooth nail, which matters on treated lumber and exterior applications that see moisture and temperature swings.

The hot-dip galvanized finish stands up to weather and treated wood chemicals better than electro-galvanized coatings, so these are a solid pick for decks, fences, and any exterior framing rather than just interior stud walls. They're collated at 21 degrees on plastic strips at .12" diameter (11 gauge), sized to run through common framing nailers, and the diamond point helps them start straight and drive clean without excessive splitting. Each box holds 4,000 nails, enough to keep a crew moving through a decking or framing job without constant reloading.
