When a project calls for real structural strength rather than just holding two boards together, GRK's 3/8" x 6" structural screw is built for the job. The hex head and Star drive give you the leverage to drive these large-diameter fasteners deep into dense lumber without stripping, while the W-Cut thread pattern is designed to cut its own path through wood grain instead of splitting it. That makes this screw a solid choice for ledger boards, deck framing, post connections, and other load-bearing wood-to-wood assemblies where a standard wood screw won't cut it.
The Climacoat finish is rated for both indoor and outdoor use, so it holds up on exposed deck structures as well as covered framing work. These are self-tapping but not self-drilling, so expect to pre-drill on harder or engineered lumber. Each box holds 300 screws, enough to keep a framing crew stocked through a full deck or structural repair job without constantly restocking.
