About Product Overview

Structural work calls for a fastener that can carry real load, and GRK's 5/16 x 4" structural screw is built for exactly that job. The W-Cut thread is self-tapping, so it draws itself into wood and cuts a clean path without the need for pre-drilling on most applications, which saves time on ledger boards, beam connections, deck posts, and other heavy timber-to-timber work. The hex head with star drive gives you a solid connection point for driving power without cam-out, and the Climacoat finish is rated for both indoor and outdoor use, so it holds up whether it's buried in a wall assembly or exposed to weather on an exterior build.
