About Product Overview

GRK's 5/16 x 6" structural screw is built for the connections that carry real load - ledger boards, beam-to-post joints, multi-ply headers, and other heavy timber framing where a standard deck screw won't cut it. The W-Cut thread reams its own path through wood as it drives, so there's no pre-drilling and less risk of splitting even in dense lumber. A hex head paired with a star drive gives you two ways to seat it, and the included driver bit means you're not digging through a bin for the right tip mid-job.

Steel construction with a Climacoat finish holds up in both indoor and outdoor applications, so the same box works for a garage build one day and an exterior deck frame the next. Fifty screws come packed in a clamshell, enough to get through a real framing task without running back for more.
