About Product Overview

This HALO 4" retrofit kit swaps an existing recessed housing over to LED without any rewiring, dropping the trim and light source in as one unit. At just 8 watts, it draws a fraction of the power an old incandescent can, and being IC rated means it's cleared for direct contact with insulation - a common snag with older fixtures. Works for new construction as well as remodel jobs, and the white matte trim blends into most ceilings without drawing attention.
