About Product Overview

This Halo H27ICAT is a 6" recessed light housing built for new construction jobs where the ceiling is open and ready for wiring. It's IC rated, meaning it's designed to sit in direct contact with insulation without a heat buildup problem, which simplifies installation in insulated ceilings. It takes a 75-watt incandescent bulb on a standard 120-volt line and runs on aluminum housing rated UL and CSA listed. Trim isn't included, so plan to pair it with a separate trim ring to finish the look.
