About Product Overview

Hillman's 1/4 x 3 carriage bolts are hot dipped galvanized steel, built to hold up outdoors where rust would eat through untreated fasteners. The rounded head and square shank pull tight against wood as you drive the nut, so there's no bolt head to catch or spin loose on the surface side of a joint. Grade 2 coarse thread steel, boxed 100 to a pack, gives you enough on hand for deck rails, fence posts, or any run of framing that calls for a clean, flush-front connection.
