About Product Overview

Grade 8 means this bolt goes where the load actually matters - suspension components, equipment mounts, structural connections, anywhere a Grade 2 or Grade 5 fastener isn't rated to handle the stress. Hillman makes this hex head cap screw from heat-treated steel, which is what gives Grade 8 its higher tensile strength compared to lower grades, and the coarse thread pitch makes it more forgiving to start and less prone to cross-threading than fine thread when you're working fast or in less-than-ideal conditions.

Each box holds 20 bolts at 3/4 inch by 4 inches, sized for jobs that need real length and a wide head diameter to spread load across the joint. It ships boxed rather than bagged, so you can keep count and keep them organized in a shop or on a truck. Made in the USA.
