About Product Overview

This is a box of 25 Hillman carriage bolts, sized 5/8-11 by 8 inches, made from Grade 2 steel with a hot dipped galvanized finish. The zinc coating from the galvanizing process holds up against rust and corrosion, which makes these bolts a solid choice for outdoor builds, decks, fences, and any project exposed to weather over time.

The rounded head and square shank under it are classic carriage bolt design - the square section digs into wood as you tighten the nut, so the bolt won't spin and you get a clean finish on the visible side. Coarse SAE threading pairs with standard nuts and washers. At 8 inches long, these have the reach for thick lumber, heavy timbers, and layered hardware where a shorter bolt won't cut it. Made in the USA, sold in a 25-count box so you've got enough on hand to finish a job without running back for more.
