Hillman's Deck Plus screws are built specifically for composite decking, where standard wood screws can strip or mushroom the surface. The star drive bit resists cam-out under power tool torque, and the coarse thread self-taps into composite boards without pre-drilling. Tan epoxy coating blends in with common composite deck colors and stands up to outdoor exposure. This 5 lb contractor box holds 375 screws, enough to cover a real deck project without running back for more.
