About Product Overview

These No. 6 x 1/2" sheet metal screws from Hillman are built for jobs that call for a solid mechanical bite into thin materials. The sharp point and tapping threads let them self-tap into wood, fiberglass, metal, and plastic without a pilot hole in most cases, while the hex head gives you a firm grip for a wrench or nut driver when a slotted screwdriver isn't practical. Zinc plating on steel construction resists corrosion for indoor use. Sold boxed in a 100-count pack for shop or job-site stock.
