The truss head on these Hillman Teks screws gives you a wider, low-profile bearing surface than a standard pan or round head, which spreads out clamping force and helps prevent pull-through in softer materials. The sharp point drives in without a pilot hole on wood, and the coarse thread grips fast in wood, fiberglass, and metal alike. Zinc plating guards against corrosion for indoor jobs where you want the fastener to hold up over time. Each box holds 100 screws, sized #8 x 3/4 inch, so you've got enough on hand for trim work, light framing repairs, or general fastening around the house.
