These #8 x 2" deck screws from Hillman's Power Pro line come in a 5 lb contractor pack with 709 screws per box, so you're not running back for more mid-project. The ceramic coating stands up to outdoor exposure, and the coarse thread with self-drilling tip bites into deck boards and other exterior wood without needing a pilot hole. A star drive bit is included, which cuts down on stripped heads and slipping compared to a standard Phillips.
