About Product Overview

When you're building or replacing a deck, corrosion is the enemy, and this box of Hillman 2-1/2" deck screws is built to handle it. Made from 305 grade stainless steel, these screws resist rust and staining even with constant outdoor exposure to rain, humidity, and treated lumber chemicals - a real concern with coated or carbon steel fasteners over time. The coarse thread and self-drilling, self-tapping design let you drive them straight into decking boards and framing without pre-drilling in most cases, and the square drive head keeps the bit seated for less cam-out on long runs. At 2,000 screws per 25 lb box, this is a bulk quantity meant for full deck builds, large repair jobs, or stocking a job site rather than small touch-ups. A driver bit is included, and the flat head sits flush for a clean finished look.
