This Home-Flex gas pipe transition fitting connects 1/2" polyethylene gas pipe to metal piping, making it the fitting you need where underground gas lines transition above ground or into a home. Built for buried gas connector applications, it's CSA and IAPMO certified, so it meets the codes inspectors are checking for. The polyethylene construction resists corrosion in ways metal pipe can't when it's in the ground.
