This Hopkins 6-pole connector is the car-end half of a trailer wiring hookup, built to carry power and signal from your vehicle to a trailer's lighting and brake system. It's made of zinc for corrosion resistance, so it holds up to weather and road grime better than plastic connectors over time.
Rated for 12 volts and 8 amps, it's sized for standard trailer lighting circuits - running lights, turn signals, and brakes. The round 6-pole design matches common trailer wiring setups used on utility trailers, boat trailers, and campers.
