The chiseled-edge carbon steel blade holds an edge under pressure, and the 3" width covers ground fast without gouging into corners the way a wider blade would. Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Hyde. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.
