About Product Overview

Cutting threads by hand on round stock or a bolt blank comes down to having a die stock that holds the die square and gives you enough leverage to keep pressure even. This IRWIN Hanson adjustable die stock is built for exactly that job, sized to work with hexagon or round dies up to the 1-7/16 in. SAE range. The steel frame runs almost 15 inches long, which puts real leverage in your hands when you're starting a cut or backing off a stubborn thread.
