About Product Overview

Eighty carbide teeth ground in an alternate top bevel pattern put this IRWIN Marathon blade in the fine-finish category, while its 12-inch diameter and 1-inch arbor size it for full-size table saws and miter saws. The ATB grind alternates the angle of each tooth's cutting edge, which is what gives multi-purpose blades like this one a cleaner cut on both crosscuts and rips without swapping blades mid-project.

A .098-inch kerf keeps material waste down and reduces the load on your saw's motor, and the 5-degree hook angle is set up for controlled feed rates rather than aggressive stock removal. Rated to 5,000 RPM max, it's built for contractors and serious woodworkers running solid table or miter saw setups who want one blade that handles general wood cutting without constant tooth changes.

Go ahead. Check.

You're going to open the other tab. Everybody does. We'd rather say so than pretend otherwise — so open it. We'll wait.

When you're over there, check four things before you click buy.

01

Who's actually selling it

The brand name is on the listing. A different company is in the seller field. Those aren't the same thing, and the second one is who you're buying from.

02

Whether the warranty survives

Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Irwin. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.

03

Where the box came from

Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.

04

Who you call when it breaks

Ours is a phone number with a person behind it who has held this product. M–F, 6 AM – 5 PM Pacific. (866) 469-8556

We're not always the cheapest.

Sometimes you'll find it for less. Sometimes you'll find it for more. On a lot of brands the number is identical everywhere it's sold legitimately — the manufacturer sets a minimum advertised price and every authorized dealer holds it. When a price sits well under that, it's worth asking why before it's worth celebrating.

Shop Local · Support Independent

Every order helps keep your local hardware store on the corner.

Why we built NHG
You might find it for less locally. Independent retailers often offer competitive pricing — some products are even cheaper in-store than online.
Real expert advice — not search results. Independent hardware staff know their inventory and the local conditions you're working in.
Keep the neighborhood working. Every dollar spent at an independent retailer returns roughly 3x more to your local economy than at a national chain.
