About Product Overview

Cutting fiber cement siding chews up ordinary blades fast, which is why IRWIN built this Marathon blade specifically for the job. The 7-1/4" steel blade uses a 4-tooth flat grind design instead of the high tooth counts you'd see on wood blades, since fiber cement calls for a different approach to hold up under the abrasive material.

A 10-degree hook angle and .071" kerf are matched to fiber cement cutting rather than borrowed from a general-purpose blade, and the 5/8" arbor fits standard 7-1/4" circular saws rated for the blade's 7,300 RPM max speed. It comes carded, one blade per package, ready to swap in before a siding job.
