About Product Overview

The Irwin Quick-Grip Quick-Change bar clamp handles the long reach jobs regular clamps can't - cabinet doors, tabletops, frame assemblies, and anything else that needs even pressure across a wide span. At 24 inches of clamping capacity with 300 lbs of clamping force, it holds glue-ups tight without the constant re-tightening some bar clamps demand. The Quick-Change design also lets it convert to a spreader, so the same tool that clamps panels together can push them apart when you need to separate stuck joints or make room for adjustments. A 3-1/2 inch throat depth gives you room to work with thicker stock, and the resin body keeps the clamp light enough to handle for extended glue-up sessions without fatigue. It's a solid choice for woodworkers, DIYers, and anyone doing repair work that calls for steady, hands-free clamping pressure.

Go ahead. Check.

You're going to open the other tab. Everybody does. We'd rather say so than pretend otherwise — so open it. We'll wait.

When you're over there, check four things before you click buy.

01

Who's actually selling it

The brand name is on the listing. A different company is in the seller field. Those aren't the same thing, and the second one is who you're buying from.

02

Whether the warranty survives

Most manufacturers only honor a warranty when the unit came through an authorized dealer. We're authorized for Irwin. A third-party marketplace seller usually isn't.

03

Where the box came from

Gray-market stock, returns repackaged as new, and outright fakes move through marketplaces constantly. It all looks identical in the photo. It stops looking identical when it fails.

04

Who you call when it breaks

Ours is a phone number with a person behind it who has held this product. M–F, 6 AM – 5 PM Pacific. (866) 469-8556

We're not always the cheapest.

Sometimes you'll find it for less. Sometimes you'll find it for more. On a lot of brands the number is identical everywhere it's sold legitimately — the manufacturer sets a minimum advertised price and every authorized dealer holds it. When a price sits well under that, it's worth asking why before it's worth celebrating.

Shop Local · Support Independent

Every order helps keep your local hardware store on the corner.

Why we built NHG
You might find it for less locally. Independent retailers often offer competitive pricing — some products are even cheaper in-store than online.
Real expert advice — not search results. Independent hardware staff know their inventory and the local conditions you're working in.
Keep the neighborhood working. Every dollar spent at an independent retailer returns roughly 3x more to your local economy than at a national chain.
