About Product Overview

The IRWIN Unibit #3 is a step drill bit, which means one tool covers a whole range of hole sizes instead of you swapping bits every time you need to go bigger. It steps from 1/4 inch up to 3/4 inch, so you can drill, then enlarge, then finish a hole all in one pass without stopping to change tooling. That makes it a favorite for electricians and HVAC techs working through electrical boxes, conduit, and thin metal enclosures, as well as anyone drilling sheet metal or plastic where a standard twist bit tends to grab or walk.
